Mission of Bao Linh Art

The mission for this online gallery and my artwork is to bring awareness to causes closest to my heart, with sale proceeds going to support my favorite nonprofits and charities. They include Challenged Athletes Foundation, Kids and Art Foundation, Shriner's Hospital for Children, and Wheels for the World. Below is more information on these organizations and my personal connection to them.

About

Welcome to my online gallery! My name is Diane Ngo and I am a self-taught urban sketcher currently residing in the Bay Area. I focus on the lyrical quality of line drawing and color washes. My artistic journey began with doodling in my youth, graduating to pen sketches and now working in mixed media (pen, watercolor and markers). Sketching allows me to quickly capture the place, mood, emotion and energy of that moment. The artistic process is my personal meditation, a space where I can solely focus on one singular thing. You can frequently find me accompanied by my sketchbook and a smile at local San Francisco coffee houses. "Bao Linh" is my Chinese Vietnamese name given to me by my late father. This online gallery is dedicated in his memory, as he was my first and constant supporter who encouraged me to chase all my dreams.
